Supporting Your Dreams Along the Way!

Dream Support is in the form of both financial and other forms of support for students who are investing
themselves in exploring their dreams and require financial or other assistance. An annual budget of $500 to $800 would be ideal, but may not be utilized fully each year, depending on applications. Some examples of
ideas that might be appropriate:

• A student dreams of being an engineer and requires equipment to secure a summer job in that field
while she attends high school, but can’t afford the equipment.

• A student who wants to be an actor is pursuing a role at a summer theatre but can’t afford the transportation
often as required can apply for financial assistance.

• A student finds a leadership camp that will assist her with skills to move them toward their dream but cannot afford the camp fees.

• A student has a dream to be a veterinarian and wants to job shadow a mentor in that category and would like GPS to facilitate the contact.
